Almost done with the battle engine on this thing. I should really give it a name at some point

Coming down to London next weekend and thought I might wanna stop by that Pokémon Pop-up, but no. It's all sold-out. People selling that notebook on ebay for 50$. It's a NOTEBOOK.

I was too naive to think you could *just* engage with Pokémon things. In 2026.

People keep saying the codenames in Metal Gear Solid sound like Megaman X bosses, so I decided to give them actual designs. Matches the scale of my other X mockups.

Something I've been sitting on for several years that I finally decided to wrap up tonight.

I love the square look of simpler watches (like the low profile casio vibe) so I'm thinking PT2 myself.

A long ass while ago I wrote a essay of sorts on texturing super low-poly 3D models. It was paid, but I think it'd be cool if more people saw it, so it's just public now.

Very sorry to hear that. I genuinely have chuckled to myself out loud to the beef burger car park story on more than one occasion.

I made a fully functional Sprayduck! I've started using it to water my berries, and you can have one too! (1/2)

You can get yours here: (2/2)

Etsy: etsy.com/listing/4359...
My shop: shop.heatphoenix.net/product/spra... (cheaper!)

It's completely watertight and the cutest Sprayduck you can find this side of Sinnoh!

couldn't resist ordering the sleek black PCB, time to make the back translucent for that atomic purple vibe

(I know the signature is a bit indulgent)

And that's the PCB... I think. This is actually my first time doing a PCB fully by myself, so let's hope this works out.

Ohhhh, I see. See, I was tossing these because the buttons and shells don't fit together perfectly. I'm happy to make you a design using the same shape if you like, though, now that I know how to make it all nice and clicky

I'm on the younger side of Millenial (1994) with my formative (European) memories mostly being reruns of 80s and early 90s American TV shows and playing the NES as my handmedown first console--on my mom's woodpaneled CRT TV.

I was originally envisioning some 90s baby nostalgia (the back being translucent plastic and thus showing the internals), but I had some of that leftover brown/copper plastic and now here we are. Gotta say, kind of a happy accident

Just the shells? I was going to toss them, actually

anyway, if this is something you're interested in, feel free to follow for updates, OR suggest features you'd be interested in seeing!

(also these are all the test prints... there were MANY.)

this prototype is pretty thick because I needed to stuff all the wires in there -> next up is doing a PCB so it's all nice and flat (and the shell will be much thinner)
