building something cool (and it's free)
But I guess it’s now or never right? 👀
…should I start my dunk training arc? 😆
It’s always been a dream of mine to be able to dunk.
I’m 26 & if I don’t dunk before I hit 30 I’ll probably never make that dream come true.
Ngl tho it’s gonna be tough balancing this with the startup. Doin legs once a week isn’t gonna cut it 😩
And through those experiences, hopefully, you have fun and eventually find your people. 🫡
This is a crucial part in our journey to scale the platform and it feels good to have another successful event in the books 🙂

There are a lot of things that are out of our control. We can’t guarantee that you’ll make a best friend the first time you attend one of our events.
But we can guarantee that we are giving you the opportunity to meet people you’d otherwise never meet.
Day in the life: coding, preparing for an event, and trusting in our product.
We care a lot about our users and really want to give them a great experience every time.
But my cofounder and I have to learn to let go and trust that the platform works.
why won't @notion.com let me share a filtered database view 🥲
do i really need to make databases for each contractor and share individual pages to avoid sharing everything with them 😭
If you don’t have time to do stuff, try to kill 3 birds with one stone.
Gonna try to get back into playing basketball, I feel like lifting weights isn’t enough to keep me in shape and I fell off the running train 😩
And can’t pass on playing basketball with friends forever lol
Been over a year since I’ve played… I’m super rusty and out of shape 💀
But it was a lot of fun and a really good way to get some excercise, hang with friends, and change the scenery.
Building better habits as a founder:
Learning to walk away from a problem unsolved and coming back to it.
There will always be more to do and problems to solve. I can’t keep grinding it out at my desk all the time.

Got rejected from our first startup accelerator application
I guess we bootstrapping this thing to the moon 🚀🚀
We’ll keep movin forward 🫡

If you can do better, lmk
Option 2:
Option 1:
Did our designer cook? 🔥
Or should we find a new one? 🚮
Still trying to fix my sleep schedule pt. 273 🥲
My problem is that I’m trying to fit too many things into my day cause there’s a lot to do and I have a hard time walking away from an unsolved problem when coding late at night.
Gotta fix it though. Will keep yall posted when I fix this habit 🫡
FINALLY started posting consistently and realized that the only thing holding me back was myself.
No need for fancy edits or scripts. Just needed to share my story, document my journey, and be myself.
My people will find me :)
Thank you for supporting and following my journey fr!! 🙏
My experience spans from software engineering, to data science, to DevOps, cloud infrastructure, fullstack, etc
And I’m adding more to my belt everyday as I build my startup 🙂
As the only technical person on the team, I honestly feel like I was meant to be in this position because I consider myself a jack of all trades. I think it’s crucial for the founding team to wear a bunch of different hats.
Does it actually work?
Our users usually tell us we do a good job of matching people together.
But it’s not perfect—no where near perfect in fact. That’s why I’m improving it :)
Another day in the life of a 26 YO technical cofounder.
Today I worked on improving our matchmaking algorithm that assigns people to their closest matches when they attend our events.
It just makes it so much easier to connect with people when you have something in common
Typical day in the life of a 26 YO technical cofounder.
Started with some meetings, focus work, gym session, & then some more work till bed time.
Didn’t get to work on user-facing features today, but we are focusing on streamlining operations which will enable us to focus on higher leverage tasks.
Finally feel like I have made some progress in growing my personal brand and finding my voice.
Thank you to everyone who’s been supporting me on this journey, yall the real ones 🙏
Consistency beats perfectionism.
Posting for the last 20 days showed me that I do have time to make these little videos documenting my journey. I just need to lower my standards while still trying to provide value.
Making time for my health and friends.
Can’t work 100% every day. But at the same time, can’t balance everything everyday and expect to make significant progress on any particular area.
Strive for balance over the long run, not day-to-day.

I’ve been wanting to share a bit more about my story and why I decided to build 3rd Space Social, so I figured I’d just share my Founders, Inc. intro application with you all 🙂
Why I left my 400k job to help people find their people.
Don’t force yourself into a box just because things don’t seem scalable from the beginning. When you try things that don’t scale, you often learn a lot more about how you can solve the problem at scale.
