Game jam submitted with full audio and refined opening. I don't think the game will do that well as it seems like people aren't too interested in it. I had a lot of fun making the cutscenes and composing the music though. #gamedev #unity #blender

I'm pretty happy with how this came out. Quickly made this in half a day as an opening for the game jam project. I also made a cool ending cinematic as well when you beat it. I really enjoy making these, makes everything feel high quality. #blender #unity #gamedev

I've been busy with a bunch of projects, one of them an impromptu game jam. I modeled a cute robot buddy using some references for the game. Just need to rig it up and add some animations for the game. #blender #gamedev

I miss the food in Japan. The tonkatsu we had in this small restaurant was very delicious and incredibly filling. It was a nice way to end the night. #japan #photography #food

I got my new portable studio last week and finally got around to testing it. The color balance is definitely nicer than the previous version that I had and much more spacious. I used a Miku figure I have for testing. #photography #miku

Been working on a custom tool for Unity to auto generate attack data from a flow chart, which works pretty well. The graph tools in Unity is really lacking though. They really need to have some official library that's usable. #gamedev #unity

There's a bird in Antarctica that tries to the steal the penguin eggs. I don't know if this one succeeded while I was there. #photography #travel #antarctica

Been playing through Endfield and I really liked the title screen. It's a very simple effect, but it works well. I threw together some assets and made a quick recreation of it in Unity. #unity #hololive #inART

I've been periodically going through some backup recovery as I never fully restored my corrupted drives. In the meanwhile, I want to go back to see the wisteria in Japan. It's amazing how they cultivated it to spread out so much. #photography #travel #japan

Quick Unity sprite shader tip I just learned: You can separate the sprite color tint from the shader if it's messing up your effect by checking "Disable Color Tint," but Vertex Color still retains the tint, so you can mix and match effects as needed. #unity

Really random, but I just felt like making an animation of CC kicking the default cube away. #blender #hololive

I played around with drivers and custom properties and I made a dynamic animation. Now the takodachi has some wiggly feet that I can adjust in one place and everything updates. #blender #hololive

I feel like this type of game has been made already, but I had a thought about making a pikmin game, but takodachi themed. Borrowed some code for the base and using assets I had already, I made a quick proof of concept. #gamedev #hololive

One of the nights I stayed in Japan, it turned out I was right next to the train station that was Harry Potter themed in Akasaka. #photography #travel #japan

Sometimes when we were traveling to the next area, we would pass ice blocks. When they were large enough, they would sometimes have this light blue glow. #photography #travel

This effect is way more effective than I thought it would be. Testing a flooding effect in a hallway and it looks really nice and stressful at the same time. #gamedev #unity

The scale of how much ice and snow there is in Antarctica is hard to convey through photos, but here you can see a group walking toward the base of a small mountain. #photography #travel

I wonder why this isn't a built in feature in Unity. I made a particle attractor for the particle system. It can control how fast the particles go toward a point in space, and with additional adjustments, it could probably follow a path as well. #gamedev #unity

Did you know penguins create their own "highway" system? They walk along the same paths so much that it digs a trench that they all use to quickly go between places. It was interesting watching a bunch of them walking up and down these highways. #photography #travel

Sweet, I got IMGui working in Unity 6 with the newer Render Graph API. Now I can bring the industry standard for debug console into my games. I feel much better now. #gamedev #unity

You know, it would be really nice if Unity didn't keep changing their architecture without documentation. The RenderGraph feature is a pain to figure out because there's currently little info. There's Unity docs, but it gives the most contrived examples and no explanation on how things connect.

One of the coolest things I saw was a whale a few meters away from our small inflatable boat. It never surfaced fully, but showed its tail from time to time. #photography #travel

You would think making a scrolling background wouldn't be too bad, but it's surprisingly difficult. The rotation is what makes this problem hard and it took a shader and 4 moving game objects. If it was static, this would be much simpler. #gamedev #unity

I've been a bit busy, but thought I'd share a flower shot I took in the Japanese flower garden. The blue buds create a nice contrast against the yellow flowers in the back. #photography
