Does anyone have theories as to why pixel-style video games are widely loved but retro polygon style doesn’t have the same broad appeal?

If you can make the switch to Mint I highly recommend it. For my fellow devs the Linux versions of Unity and Godot support compiling for Windows right out of the box. The Linux version of Epic doesn’t support it at all.

Welp, my hatred of Microsoft and Epic merged into a perfect storm and I’m moving to Unity on Linux Mint. Next game now has a 2027 release but I’m happier than a pig in shit.
