“Of this woman nothing more will be known” reflects the same ambiguous traits of traditional male visual culture. Based on the title of this particular collage, here is a female depiction who, as a person socially coded as female, becomes a throwaway commodity for the straight male who engages her; hence, “nothing more will be known.” “Twilight bridge” in its setting of reduced light, again signals the dusky, recondite nature of straight men engaging in furtive desires, or at least oblique sensual curiosities, with respect to trans women. - JC Alfier
