BREAKING: Political funding from British citizens living abroad should be capped at about £300,000 a year and donations in cryptocurrency temporarily banned, a government review has recommended.
No shit.
I’m pretty pissed at Spider-Man rn I can’t lie. Rich as hell and won’t save Tottenham. Adele too. Shameful.
The World Cup is 79 days away.
Yes. If not in the driving seat then with someone else. Needs a club connection.
Yeah, that’s my concern. Some fucking captain, him. I’ve been trying to give him the benefit of the doubt but two red cards in the Prem this season and just straight up blaming others when HE was putting in bare minimum effort yesterday. I can’t fathom it. Doesn’t deserve the armband.
I think, given his bereavement and everything else that’s going on, it would be best for Tudor to be able to step away from Spurs. It’s so much like Conte in 2022. Conte was so clearly affected by the death of his dear friend and management is such a stressful environment
It might sound crazy but I really would bring someone like Mason in atp. I think there are too many players in our team that desperately need reminding what it means to play for our badge and shirt. I’m sorry but Romero was JOGGING when ‘tracking back’ just before MGW’s goal yday. Then blamed others
Why should I, I think, keep giving my money that is left over after bills, mortgage, etc., to a billion-pound enterprise that does not prioritise why it was created in the first place? Following a team now is not just passion, it's a financial choice and when you're ripped off, you get put off...3/?
The club banks it, says 'thank you very much', divvies it up among the shareholders, make sure they all get nice bonuses, and leave a little for the football team to keep ticking over. It's being taken for a gullible, cashcow that stings. No sense of doing right by those who chose the club... 2/?
It's like #587 on Tottenham's list of problems but giving a guy with such a poor attitude the armband is a great symbol of what the club is at the moment
Correct. Conte’s assessment of the club was correct (even if he welshed on calling out his bosses) but his motives were entirely self serving.
Levy cried poor for years and if they’d just invested in a professional data setup when it was clear that’s the way the sport was going we’d be fine. You could marry it with our higher rev in comparison to those clubs and really maximize our position.
Instead they bungled and moved glacially slow.
I can’t get over how the club has bungled everything. How do you slow walk into a situation like this?
One thing that really grinds my gears is how shit the recruitment/scouting has been for years. How have you let Brentford, Bournemouth, Brighton kick your ass finding young talent?
The United States committed this crime on Cuba
Just no creativity until it's too late. We've needed passing all season, and for 8 months, the central midfield was lava in our buildup. Kudus Gallagher and Pahlinha didn't address the loss of Maddison and Deki, and when we identified Eze and MGW we didn't get them done.
25 years in the making.
Defeat against Manchester City on Sunday means Arsenal have now lost their last four League Cup finals.
It could be worse. We could have had to watch Arsenal win a trophy on the same day as today.
Stat sky put up during the game, since mid November 2024 we have been behind 28 times and lost 23 of them. Make that 29 and 24. That's pathetic on each of the 3 managers
Was feeling positive after the last 2 games and players seemingly coming back but that result was catastrophic. Tudor probably has to go but don’t know who we turn to, who can get us to play with some attacking threat while not looking like we’ll concede every time the opposition gets near our goal.
Bad
Absolute letdown after what they just did vs. Athleti. Why in the bloody hell wasn’t Xavi on the pitch from the opening whistle?!?
We can sack Tudor, but Vinai and Lange should be escorted out immediately after him.
God this is painful.
Tottenham have won ONE league game at home since the opening day, a run stretching back AUGUST 2025
They deserve to go down to be honest
It’s pathetic, it really is
So it's basically us or West Ham and I'd feel a lot better if we've, y'know, actually won a match in 2026
We needed a massive performance, we got a miniature performance.
We’ve looked ok at times today, hit the bar, their keeper has made some great saves but Spurs find new ways to concede and shoot ourselves in the foot and can’t create enough clear cut chances. Don’t know where we go from here but we feel doomed. 3 weeks of trying to forget about football coming up.
At least West Ham lost but that’s no comfort really. We desperately needed to win this. And we looked completely abject.
