At my local drugstore, and there are two separate displays for Skin Aqua’s reformulated tone-up line (with a new version in white) plus two more areas of shelf space. I stand by my opinion that Skin Aqua is mainly known for their tone-up line in Japan.

Initially I thought it’s also used in the brightening gel, which will also be reformulated as of February, but it turns out it’s just for the gold gel (currently Anessa Perfect UV Sunscreen Skincare Gel NA, will be Anessa Perfect UV Sunscreen Skincare Gel NB as of February 21, 2026).
