or put another way, i take art extremely seriously but i am also sometimes unserious about it by choice to better engage with it (both making and observing). yeah

i take art rly unseriously but i would stake my life on it. if that makes no sense it's ok

idk about other people but i never really "leave" a fandom, i just run out of ideas and concepts to draw and i find another subject to explore for a while. i'll come back to drawing for something i like if i have a strong idea for it

now that i draw a higher percentage of stupid shit i completely, completely understand doing that... i wish to resist the cycle bc if i start it'll never end and i do like having an archive of my art and thoughts at the time. but oogh it's tempting

i always feel like that NOOOO (poof) spiderman gif whenever an artist i like was the type to ditch an acc (or worse, delete their acc) when they changed fandoms when i already like their artstyle and would follow them anywhere. ofc its their art and their freedom to do so it just makes me sad
