Something cool about seeing a band you're unfamiliar with is looking at the audience and seeing their fans mark out for specific songs or moments. I love the feeling of that communal energy. Going to shows is the best

Went to the show to see a local band (Des Demonas, who were hella tight) not knowing anything about the headliner but when I overheard someone in the audience say that their favorite bands were Art Brut and Ween I knew it was gonna be a good time
