on the other hand i'm sure the team at kojipro regularly has NIGHTMARES about how many lines of code they had to alter the day kojima walked in, six weeks before release, and said "what if we made his piss more yellow when players don't use the water flask (that restores stamina) often enough?"

on one hand, every mechanic having multiple uses adds complexity and helps ground it as part of the game world, letting players immerse, it's why something as ridiculous as "norman reedus can piss on ghosts" can still be narratively compelling and link into not just the mechanics but the lore itself
