Surely 50 / 60 old farmers who are worried about Inheritance Tax have children who are themselves 30-40 yrs old. If these 'children' aren't already working on the farm inheriting it later on isn't going to make them want to start. So, why not gift the farm now, carry on farming and live for 7 years?
