Good morning Susan, and happy Tuesday! Thanks very much for yesterday's sanity-preserving mug of #BlueBrew. Could I trouble you for another? 🤣🤣 Today's nuttiness was due to getting the winter tires off one of our cars... At least that's a sign of spring!

In the right foreground of this image stands a tall, thick tree trunk almost completely covered with moss. The right edge of the trunk is outside of the frame. In the left midground a shallow, rock-filled brook wanders into and then back out of the image. At the base of the tree the leaf and pine-needle-strewn forest floor is visible. The tree and brook are mostly in clear focus. In the upper left, blurry images other trees appear, as well as ferns and moss-covered rocks at the edge of the brook.

In any case, the greenhouse is what I meant…

Yep! I’m think I got the “conservatory” language off the college website rather than just making it up out of whole cloth… But maybe not!

This image a closeup of the head and torso of a crow in a grassy field. This hungry dude is chowing down on a worm---yum! We get a nice view of detail in its glossy wing and head feathers, as well as its beak. It hasn't shaved in a couple of days (well, ever) as can seen by the scruff on its chin. There even looks like there may be a small reflection of the skyline in its eye, though I can't be sure. The crow is surrounded by mostly brown grass but with a hint of green here and there. A little grass in the foreground is in focus, but the grass in the background is out of focus, producing a brownish-green blur that contrasts nicely with the glossy black of the crow.

I was saving this for a food day. It's a food day! #ComeEatWithMe is the theme for #BirdOfTheDay from @robcrank68.bsky.social. Here's a crow with a snack! Norwich VT, April 2026

Hi Susan. Boy, I've had a morning! Can I pretty, pretty please have a nice, hot, stress-relieving mug of #BlueBrew? I'm nearly certain it will stop my head from exploding. I hope you've had an easier Monday so far than I have! 🤣

The image shows the bright pink inflorescence of an urn plant, Aechmea fasciata, another bromeliad native to Brazil. The inflorescence appears at the middle left of the image, and shows many bright pink leaves with sharp, serrated edges. The inflorescence (a set of specialized leaves that hold the actual flowers when in bloom) is fully in focus, and surrounded on the right and bottom by dark green, glossy, out-of focus leaves with a mottling of lighter green. The leaves are interspersed with black shadows, especially in the upper left corner.

Challenge rating 10/10. Well done! (I mean the dogs, of course.)

That’s all very true! I certainly appreciate having a place to say a little more. And it’s very important for people who are less fortunate. As far as reading it goes, realistically it doesn’t add a ton of time, since many of them are short. I just need better habits!
