I've got no problem with "You need to have read these back issues to understand this." (I mean, many people would, but I just read 100 issues of a comic from the 80s so I'd understand the references.)

I am irritated with "You need to watch a NEW version of something you've already watched."

Trans people may be more likely to be DIAGNOSED, which makes sense to me. They grew up trying to make sense of not feeling the way society said they should, which a) causes stress and b) causes many to try to solve the problem by going to doctors and therapists, which is where diagnoses come from.

One of the Wordle-type games I play wants me to guess “BRUNG” as an answer, and my belief that language shouldn’t be tethered to proper use when voice demands it evolve is struggling mightily right now.

The optimal use case for wearing them remains being able to take them off in the middle of the fight to intimidate an opponent who’s been winning so far.
