I hope it helps!

Klonopin is a benzo, one of the strongest and longest lasting we have available. That deflated, depressed feeling you’re having is your parasympathetic nervous system kicked into high gear. Vagal activation might help a bit - going outside, cardio, cold compresses on the back of your neck.
Not great, but better. Sounds about right for these meds.
Klonopin can be super helpful! Have you talked to your psych about taking it a little earlier in the evening? It’s such a heavy hitting med sometimes little tweaks can make a big difference.
5x7” watercolor painting, portrait orientation of a small creek forming a little waterfall as it flows down some geologically inconsistent rocks.
I have found myself working on the same painting for a week. I don’t normally do much representational work because at this point in the process I just get really irritated with it. Imma step back, maybe do some finger painting. #art
5x7” watercolor and marker drawing in portrait orientation, of a small creek and waterfall down a rocky landscape. More representational and detailed than my normal stuff, with lots of cracks and algae on the rocks.
Small watercolor/marker drawing I’ve been working on in small steps for the last week.
Dark watercolor on 5x7” paper, using tape to layer sunlight shaft through dark blue eaters with a great big orange squid in the middle.
Weekend art. I think I’m headed to the end of my tape stage. #art
5x7” watercolor, using tape to layer in color like an Easter egg so the tree is in light pastel, some branches and a tree house is in darker shades, and black background.
Response art for today. Another tape tree! Enjoying watercolors lately. #art #therapistsky
5x7” watercolor, a simplified landscape of palm trees on a beach with a mound of rocks in the distance.
Response art for the day. #art #therapistsky
Marker drawing on 5x7” sketch paper, coloring in a contour line drawing of a lit melted candle in shades of brown.
Response art for today. Trying to soften. #art #therapistsky
Six small decorative soaps, white and pink soap filling in the petals, with a dark grey base made from activated charcoal.
A friend invited a group of us over to learn how to make soap! We started with “melt and pour.” Pretty, and they smell like Red Hots which makes me very happy.
Marker on 8x10” sketch paper. A thin nude figure is in the center stretching up an arm to the top, drawn in gray and blue wiggly lines. The background is undulating shapes in brown, then green, pink, blue, and yellow from bottom to top.
Response art I’ve been working on the last few days after work. #art #therapistsky
Classic scribble doodle with felt tip markers on sketch paper, then colored in so the spaces between the lines show a rainbow pattern radiating outward.
Weekend response doodle - after an eventful weekend, feeling hopeful this morning. #art #therapistsky
The sun sets on this day like it did yesterday and will tomorrow.

The corner of p. 79 in Ursula K. Le Guin's Book of Cats shows Ursula's drawing of a scruffy little cat, all black with green eyes and a slightly grumpy expression, sitting upright with her tail curled in front of her.
A detail from Ursula K. Le Guin’s Book of Cats (Library of America, 2025).
Loose, wet on wet watercolor done on 5x7” white sketch paper in landscape. Portrait of a human form laying front down on the ground with their legs tucked up under them, kind of like child’s pose if you melted.
Response art for today. She needs a break. #art #therapistsky
I am tucked into my car parked just outside the Bookworm, a local Omaha bookstore that sells local authors self published works by consignment. They are going to stock a handful of my book and I am psyching myself up before I walk in.
Time traveling mushrooms, now at an honest to goodness bookstore! www.bookwormomaha.com
Watercolor and crayon on 5x7” cold press watercolor paper; wavy lines are basket-weaving together in a pastel brown green and pink palette.
Response art for today. Pretty on the nose for integration, but 🤷♀️. #art #therapistsky
So. This started as a very loose and light watercolor portrait of a woman framed tight with her shoulder and neck all oriented to the bottom left and cartoon black marker on top. It was not good. Today I added darker watercolor pencil and interacted with the black line a bit, and added purple marker to the black to soften it. She now looks a little more expressive and my goal of watercolor + cartoon is less nightmarish.
Today I revisited a failed experiment and made it a little better. I’m… pleased? #art
“ICE agents, get out now because historically, this ends with you hanging from a lamppost and your body paraded through the streets.” - the …we rate dogs guy
Good morning. I'd like to invite anyone who is interested to make a small gesture of kindness today. It's up to you to decide what that can be. The key is for you to act on the idea. With so much out of our control, we can choose how to be with each other today and every day.
It’s already 2027 in Australia.
Abstract portrait of a woman’s shoulders and face, the hair is curving lines and shapes in pastels and rainbow colors, while her face is small discreet strokes of different shades of skin tones. The overall impression seems to be a very busy mind with a blank, almost desiccated face.
Response art for today. HOW IS YOUR HOLIDAY GOING?!

A small box of stacked with paperback books, showing the spine and front. The spine has my name on it, the front is a picture of an arm coming up from a swampy mixed media situation with the book title, 60/40.
Hey look! The book I wrote is now able to be touched with human hands! www.endobiont.com
Next week the days start getting longer
