good(?) news! found wpa_supplicant issue; broke my nm config troubleshooting last time i had a go at this, wpa clashes w/ iwd in a few places so fixing that this evening

yup! ive restored it since, somehow configured the whole lot to expect 802.11 and was able to roll that back. never had any luck with eduroam :[
fwiw ive ran the python script eduroam provides with two different campuses, script 'succeeds' but no connection. shame i can only test it in uni lol
