I'm sure you figured out I intentionally used Mass., because of the sheer chaos of it. π

@garygulman.bsky.social I finished 25/261 in my HS class (public HS in Mass. just like you π). Not as impressive as your 24/476, but I've always been pleased to have finished 1 spot ahead of the kid who brought a briefcase to HS every day.
Looking forward to seeing @garygulman.bsky.social in late August. This will be my 6th time. Always a great evening. Love his wordplay.
We had a cat, Peanut, for 18 years. He was 2 (and so was our daughter) when we adopted him. He was an excellent kity. The last few years he had kidney trouble so we were giving him IV fluids everyday. By the end he was deaf, and at that point he was just fur and bones. Great cat though.
I can't imagine how many Elmer jokes she's heard in her life.
I put this pic through Google Flow to colorize and enhance the picture, and this was the result.
Is that the same Manny Fernandez that played in the Florida International League?
"That was one magic loogy"
"There had to be a second spitter."
Always impressed how quickly they can come up with similar scenes from the art world.
Even if the team isn't entertaining (yet), at least your vocabulary is.
Any word if Uberstine took an Uber to Worcester?
He's already got Acuna in the grave. "How he played the game". π Wonder if Acuna will have anything to say to him when the Braves and Pirates play each other next.
We make our with ham and broccoli. We also add onion to the cheese sauce.
Tied for the 3rd highest scoring game of the season, so far.
He must have had a really tough one he was trying to squeeze out when he wrote that.
It's the same with replay on calls that have to be checked frame-by-frame to decide. Not the spirit of the rule, but it is what it is.
The batter (or catcher/pitcher) is taking a big chance trying to get that pitch overturned, given how close it is. Good (and lucky) for them if they do. If the ump was right, well, maybe they shouldn't have challenged something so close. Risk/reward.
Well, turns out my memory was a bit faulty. It was zoom, zoom, zooma zoom, and then later zooma zooma zooma zoom

If I remember, from watching Zoom (yes, I'm that old. And the Electric Company with Morgan Freeman and Rita Moreno), it was zooma zooma zoom zoom zoom
Will Gary be illustrating any of it?
Imaginary parrot: 1
This didn't age well. π
Guess it's "wait til next year", @marksimon.bsky.social? π

Which is which?
I think the White Sox could win 72-76 games. They had a decent offseason. I would at least expect them to win more than they did last year. The AL East should be really interesting, especially with the balanced schedule.
@alexspeier.bsky.social Love you WS prediction! I bet Moyer could do it, too. 4 different pitches, all 80-82.
Has the Globe allowed for easy online cancellation yet? Last time I was subscribed, it was a hassle to cancel. You had to call, there was no online option to cancel.
I had him on one of my fantasy baseball teams back in the early aughts. I think he hit 3 hrs in one game once when I had him.
