If he wants it he’s going to have to work at getting it himself. He’s right there…he just needs to get serious.

In the meantime, it hurt my heart seeing so many in his class move up and him not.

I feel so bad watching my son fall behind in martial arts. He didn’t belt up and at this point he really should be. I know exactly why he’s not…and it’s not something I can fix 🤷🏻‍♀️

I been telling him what he needs to do but I also tell him I can’t want this more than him. I can’t do this for him.

I feel like I’m dreaming with something so niche (it prob isn’t) and I have no blueprint for how to respond or behave.

I’m supposed to watch two movies for my weekly tv/movies spaces meet up but I have no desire or urge to really watch anything right now except Superman and Fantastic Four

I think I got Covid at CC. I don’t even know if it’s worth it to test. I’m on day three of feeling run down, coughing, runny nose. Just ick. To be fair I’m on day one of being home so now I can start the rest portion of getting better. I’m distancing myself from others, sanitizing, and masking 🤷🏻‍♀️

Tomorrow morning we leave for San Diego to attend Comic Con. This is hopefully going to be a reset for my family. Lots of stuff going on at the moment and it’s hard and it’s going to continue to be hard. Hopefully this next five days can be a reprieve from that.

I’m still active on Twitter, I know…SHAME!!!! It’s hard to break away when I’ve made so many connections there that I value.

I can’t figure out what I want busy for at this moment, but right now it’s prob going to be where I release more personal matters (which who cares? Lol)…

I just finished my favorite book of 2025, “Atmosphere: A Love Story” by Taylor Jenkins Reid. I think I like it more than “Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo”, which I didn’t think would ever happen.

This is also PRIMED for a limited series. Starting the fan casting with Isabella Merced as Vanessa Ford!

People in my neighborhood starting lighting fireworks two days ago. My poor baby has been on edge for days.

I really really really wanted the Pacers to win it all but as great as they’ve been, and they deserve to be where they are, they don’t have that X Factor to get them over the hump against a great team like okc.

Now it’s just a matter of if the Thunder want to win at home or on the road.

Maybe I’m able to be removed from nostalgia cause I never watched the animated movies, but my kids and I greatly enjoyed the live action “How to Train Your Dragon”. Like a lot a lot.

Took an edible and it warped my body clock lol.

I finished “The Studio” and am caught up on “Doctor Who”…recently finished “The Four Seasons”and “Forever”…still need to get caught up on “HACKS”…any recommendations for other shows I should check out?

Yall my teen found out My All by Mariah Carey was written about Derek Jeter and now she will not stop looking at pics from him in the 2000’s!!! Like girl! Mariah got over it, so can you!

It’s based off a YA book series and the book gave a more gruesome story than the movie. Ive read the sequel and now want to read the third lol.

My kids disagreed with me, but I enjoyed “Clown in the Cornfield” for exactly the kind of movie it is…slasher horror with a slight story. It’s not great, prob not even good, but it’s decent.

FOREVER on Netflix is already the sweetest thing I’ve watched in 2025 and I’m only 10 mins into the first episode!!!!

Today is the day I start catching up on all my tv. Hacks, The Studio, Abbot Elem, Black Mirror, Your Friends and Neighbors, Andor, Dope Theif…whew! Lol.

I remember being in elementary school and at the beginning of the year we would fill out questionnaires about ourselves, after asking our name there was a spot for a name we wish to be called. This was in the 90’s and early 2000’s.

We’ve always had chosen names and teachers respected that.

I’ll try to be spoiler free as I say this…watched the latest TLoU and while I was spoiled on that development, I was convinced they would hold off on it till the end of the season. Interesting choice to do it now.

I’ll expand on this later, but the tv medium is very different than the game medium.

Go watch SINNERS. It’s worth all the hype. Michael B Jordan is beyond incredible. Ryan Coogler is an artist with a distinct POV and that feeds my soul. I love this movie.

Also, I’m compiling a long reading list because of this movie and I can’t wait!

To combat the anxiety and despair, I’m catching up on tv. Hacks is back with season four and there’s a brand new season of Black Mirror. Going to see Sacramento later.

This last week has been an anxiety depressive inducing one. With the govt now making it legally more difficult for me to exercise my constitutional right because I’m married.
A helicopter literally dropped from the sky.
It’s a never ending despair cycle.

Yall, Hacks is still one of the best comedies on television!
