Ontario buys used $28.9M private jet for Doug Ford: sources A senior official confirmed that the province this week took possession of a 2016 Bombardier Challenger 650 executive jet.

Say it with all of Ontario now: why the fuck does “man of the people” Doug Ford need a private jet?

Shut up & sing.

Shut up & dribble.

Shut up & make movies.

Shut up & plan cities.

Fuck that.

If we don’t ALL speak up, when things are this bad and getting worse by the minute, and everything important is the line, then we’re complicit.

The bigger your platform, the bigger your responsibility.

I was going the other way, Ottawa to Toronto. With the detour up to Markham and another delay, we were over 3 hours late arriving. I almost got a free ticket (achieved with a 4 hour late arrival). But the new train was nice.

Two pages apart in the @thestar.com : 9 year old killed by driver of SUV jumping curb, and Ontario bans speed cameras. Yes they are related, because Doug Ford inculcates a culture that the world is made for drivers, but kids and cyclists? Too bad.

The Toronto #BlueJays gave us arguably the closest #WorldSeries in modern history, and the most fun and inspiring playoff run I can remember in any sport. I LOVE THAT TEAM, and 100% believe #TORONTO should have a HUGE CELEBRATION ANYWAY, to thank the team, fans, city and COUNTRY for a legendary run!
