this is one of those fics i have to reread over and over again because it’s so good—and it’s how imagine adult gaang to be like and most of all, aang gets character development! instead of being locked in his comfort zone

i sometimes wonder if writers from avatar studios read zutara/taang fanfics because the entire “bender vs. nonbender” plot was explored prior to lok in the longfic “the slow path” by tazmaninadevil
