The four astronauts of Artemis II standing at the base of the rocket that will carry them to the moon

I'm too young to have witnessed the Apollo moon missions, but I can remember the early missions of the space shuttle. This Artemis launch event is giving that same anticipatory energy. Godspeed to the Artemis II crew!

The one on the left has a red finish and it's labelled Serial Port.
The one on the right is green and labelled Serial Starboard.

Korean MLB advertising with slogan “it’s big ball chunky time”

MLB’s Korean marketing slogan used to be “It’s big ball chunky time”, and I will never stop thinking about it

And the fact that they have the steroid-tainted Barry Bonds as a key part of the broadcast isn't a good look.

I love that #mlb baseball is back tonight, but watching live sporting events on Netflix is just insufferable.

😆We still do a lot of SSIS, but proportionally it's smaller than it was a decade ago. SSIS is so ingrained into the fabric (little "f") of on-prem data that it may have a longer tail than COBOL.

Grammarly turned me into an AI editor against my will and I hate it The company tells Platformer it will let experts opt out of the controversial feature — but how different is it than what every other AI company is doing?

Wait, what?! Grammarly made an AI persona of me and all these other journalists?!!!!!

Thank you @caseynewton.bsky.social for shaming them into at least offering a paltry optout— although obviously that is not enough.
