This was more about memories the character had of situations earlier in her life which the reader hopes will end up in a murder, and then don't, and then the story, and the character's life, is wrapped up with a neat little bow. 💙📚

This book was like a 101 class on "tactics cults use", and if you've spent any time watching any documentaries on cults from Jonestown to LuLaRoe, you already know what's in this book, and you can probably skip it. 💙📚

I listened to the whole episode expecting Stewart to point this out after the interview, and he did not. Disappointing.

This episode really bothered me. Christie complained about DEI while actively bragging about implementing it in his own offices. When asked for examples of when DEI was just hiring without merit, he gave 0 and dodged the question. Repeatedly.

Good is subjective. I found it rather boring, but my husband loved it. 🤷

I read Fairy Tale a few months ago and there's a HUGE difference between that and The Shining in terms of style.
