Thinking of the staff of STV North who are facing real uncertainty. STV North has been important in helping communities understand what’s happening around them & has reported on our public services.
Local people can have their say in the future of STV North. Consultation details:

Visiting ARI today, @NHSGrampian.bsky.social, I admired again The Ripple Effect honouring those who gave the gift of life through organ donation.
Generosity - Love - Hope
Hopefully this fantastic artwork will encourage others to discuss organ donation with their families

Very 🙏 to have the opportunity to attend my breast screening appointment close to home due to the mobile van
@NHSGrampian.bsky.social
Routine screening doesn’t stop anyone getting breast cancer, but it’s the best way to spot cancers at an early stage when they’re easier to treat.

It was good to listen to staff at Aberdeen Maternity Hospital @NHSGrampian.bsky.social on Friday, putting on a mask to visit. Good to see masks available for visitors, but If you have a cough, sneeze or runny nose or recent diarrhoea/vomiting, please don’t visit hospitals or care homes 🙏

Pleased to attend the @NHSGrampian.bsky.social
#Psychology All Staff Conference this month. Great to experience a Schwartz round at the start, a real focus on staff well-being. Inspiring insights too into how psychologists work in a preventative way, despite the pressures of waiting lists.

I visited the new #Palestine Museum, Dundas Street Edinburgh where powerful and memorable images tell the Palestinian story through artwork.
Particularly striking is the testimony from Dr Khalil Khalistan, committed to looking after the wounded and dying in Gaza.
In memory of Child 991.

Honoured to carry the May Day banner at the AberdeenTUC March today.
Great to see such a strong turnout to celebrate the workers of the world.
Memorable words from Tommy Campbell at the rally :
“The only wars we should be fighting are the war on poverty and the war against attacks on human rights.”
