It gets darker. 💀 According to VA @Ronie_6 on Youtube, Amazon tried to bypass the "PASAVE" (anti-AI) clause. When pros refused to sign, Amazon allegedly went to a dubbing school to use students who didn't know their rights.

They dubbed half the game before cancelling it. Predatory behavior.

I’ve been told that Spanish dubbing associations are getting in touch with associations from other European countries that are receiving the dub, and that once everything is 100% confirmed, they’ll make it public. As soon as I hear anything, I’ll let you know.

"Tantrum" is the perfect word for it. It really feels like: "If I can't own your voice rights for my AI, then nobody gets to hear it." It is a punishment tactic, plain and simple.

Exactly. That is the part that blows my mind the most.
