two men are standing next to each other with the words you know that 's right on the bottom Alt: Shawn and Gus from Psych. Gus says you know that’s right

PSYCH is my happy place. Shawn and Gus banter always lifts my spirits. Dulé Hill is a treasure trove of funny reactions.

Looks like gluten is officially out of my diet for the foreseeable future. Any fellow gluten-free folks with recommendations for genuinely tasty replacements? Things I’m already missing most are soft pretzels, snacky cracker things, garlic bread and ramen.

The “NASA is awesome” sentiment throughout THE MARTIAN is social commentary, Andy.

Looking past the dumber parts of what Weir said, like… what does he watch and read? Anything worth it is saying *something*. Even if that commentary is just “love is cool”.

I loved Massive Talent. This wasn’t nearly bad enough for me to write him off.

Also, this is one of the widest gulfs between quality of a film and its score in I don’t know how long. Fleming’s mid-90s throwback compositions are what the movie should have been overall.

ANACONDA ‘25 is a wasted opportunity for sure, it’s also dumb and lazily put together for the most part. But I laughed fairly often and it never bored me or made me actively irritated like I was expecting. Needed to be funnier and more violent.

Briefly wondered if Orbitz was a real drink but of course it was. Bless you, Canada.

Had a good run the last few days

GOOD LUCK, HAVE FUN, DON’T DIE is a messy but very enjoyable return for GV. Great seeing the texture and weird energy he brings to every outing. It feels long, the partial vignette structure is hit-and-miss, as are the tone shifts. But playful cast and camera help gloss over a lot.

The golden curry is being eaten and is HITTING. New Gore Verbinski is up next.

Hilarious and singular. The casualness with which it pulls off some of these sequences is mind blowing. And the whole thing has a warmth and amiability that’s irresistible.

The thing that cued Matt into the fact he actually time traveled… brilliant.

It’s been a rough couple days, so it’s Japanese curry and a movie tonight for a pick me up.

Had a great time with MIKE & NICK & NICK & ALICE. Grabinski’s script is funny and clever, cast is awesome, has a great soundtrack, and the fights are fun. Watch with friends.

Rachel McAdams excitedly shouting that she found the conch

McAdams take the thing and runs with it. Very fun.

A blast. It’s a twisted pleasure seeing Raimi play in a mean, over-the-top, and bodily fluid filled sandbox again. McAdams and O’Brien are both great and totally committed. I think I hyped it into a different thing but that’s on me not the movie.
