It’s a good question. I read somewhere that they had indicated earlier that they were going to increase borrowing against their endowment. I think that may have been their preparatory plan realizing all of this *waves hands wildly* was coming. Didn’t see specifics of how that $$ would be used though

And they aren’t the only place that they exist. For MExAG at least there were backups of virtually everything offline except maybe some of the annual meetings materials, and even most of that is probably saved. A bloody waste of time to archive & rebuild this stuff, but it can be done, some quickly.
