It happened when the finish copies of my book about Twins was published and released. I had never seen a finished copy yet… but then the publisher mailed the package to a strange & incorrect address… about 4 blocks downhill from me.

Here's a closeup. It's a lot of fun having an ebike... last year, I have to say, I went every day when it wasn't actually raining downpours.

Got my new CityRun... and here I am putting it together, down in the basement! Yay! Some crook stole my bicycle last week... but now I have an even better replacement... so there!

Soon those long agony uphill pedals will be like gliding downhill!

I belong to that group of user who are digitally disabled... there are so many things that it's not worth my while to even try.

These were some of my first sketches... ink on newsprint.
I just taught myself to draw... art school didn't help.
It was more fun to just do it myself...

That would be ideal if I could turn off the 2fa... but I see the choices are to just add more to an email.

So that doesn't work.

But when I come upstairs to the desktop, I can use bluesky.

I remember when I first tried to sign on, it took me months to get on.

The message is for me to reply to their my phone... which is broken.

I hate my phone... but I got my spouse's old iPhone and I still haven't even bothered how to use it.

I hate how bluesky cuts off my typing... so Facebook works a lot better.

Nope... problem is my telephone broke. And it has been hell trying to patch back in... since the Bluesky is also not helping. And since they cut off my typing at like 25 characters, it's useless.

But it works on the desktop.

Since I can't get Bluesky to sign me in on my iPad, I probably only see it when I'm on the desktop... which is sort of rarely.

I wonder why Facebook seems to work better than all the other apps for social media?

I always forget to turn off the sound… so those weird noises are just me!

And the last step is to scan the watercolor and then add the digital shading in photoshop. Sure saves a lot of time.

It’s a miracle to be able to post anything to an iPad in a forum… lol! I’m trying to find a photo of the large pile of dummy books of mine… lol!

But here’s my cat watching over a book I started out in WC and finished in photoshop…

Also, I have a whole stack of finished dummy books to send out to publishers. But it’s insulting to only get back a form letter “If we don’t hear back from you in two months, it means we aren’t interested…”

I get excited about just making paintings on canvas and not locking my creativity up with chains & padlocks by waiting for some editor to like it.

That’s like how the town of Aix hated Van Gogh and signed a 100 person letter demanding he never enter the town again.

Only later, the same people were building relics to cash in on his paintings…

And of course the hand sharpening of charcoal pencil with exacto blades is often what I do. Sometimes it seems they’re the only thing that works.

I find that with many of the softer pencils with charcoal, a hand sharpener is totally required. The hand sharpener can be turned slowly so it doesn’t break the softer leads.

But electric is nice for regular pencils.

That one might be titled:

That’s good, since we have not seen them work together on hardly anything for years…

Nice turnout on Red Sqare at the UW in Seattle. Lots of protestors from the Vietnam Era. I heard one guy say ‘I’m so used to protesting, it brings it all back’.

‘Stop Being Evil!’ Good slogan and accurate.

Me too! I have never voted for a republican in my life… and I’ve been voting in every election since Nixon.
