I just received notice that my diversity supplement was cancelled… has anyone been successful with appealing a termination to the NIH? Would love any advice if folks have any!
I received an email stating that my graduation gown and hood were ready for pick up, and it dawned on me that I graduate in a month. Then I remembered that I also have to finish my thesis, create a lecture, job hunt, and stay on top of grading. I’m excited to finish this race! 🎉
We (my husband and service dog are with me) have been awake since 730 this morning and just arrived in New Orleans for #INS20205 due to flight delays caused by a winter storm. I am tired but excited to see everyone, attend CE sessions, and eat 🥹. Missing our adopted son and two big boys though.

I have to finish my PhD applications tomorrow, and because I live on Minnesota’s North Shore, it’s going to be way too cold to venture out tomorrow. So we journeyed out to see the ice buildup on the lakes today! It was a beautiful off-work holiday!
