I would say Mariomon is a great choice for a balanced experience between gameplay, innovation, dialogue and importantly, length.

but if you have any interest in doubles, I highly, highly recommend Pokemon Odyssey, even if you have minimal knowledge of the Etrian Odyssey franchise.

I cannot for the life of me figure out why they made this exact decision. Why are Fenniken and Froakie one guaranteed spawn and then Chespin has this 90% chance to just be a Diggersby instead. At least I have a bunch of other cool mons.

Went 2-2-0 and dropped at the Pittsburgh Pokemon Regionals 2025. I played okay my 2 wins, and tried my best 1 of the two losses. 2nd loss just stopped me in my tracks mentally and decided to save mental and do side events.
