Haha! Yep - it was an ABC syndicated serial, much like Xena or Hercules. It appeals to me so much with its hope, fun, humor, some darkness, but not to a fault.
There's enough damn darkness every time I read the paper or listen to the news. This show is a great foil for all that garbage.

One thing Legend of the Seeker has reminded me of is the existence of recap episodes. Maybe I'm mistaken, but I don't think this type of television exists any longer in this age of binge-watching.
It's sort of sad, really, because recaps were often an art unto their own.
Throughout most of the winter and into the early spring, we've been watching Legend of the Seeker. A Sam Raimi production that lasted all of two seasons, I never watched its original run (Laura had, though).
I've loved it from the get-go. Each episode is the best D&D adventure ever.
Coming up, the spotlight is on bossa nova great Antonio Carlos Jobim. We look at his vast catalog of standards and how artists of the hi-fi era approached his works.

In my effort to remain hopeful with humanity, I find it a challenge when witnessing someone who exits the office bathroom without washing their hands.

Did you notice Trump didn't take off his fucking hat when the dead soldiers went by? And, just BTW, what's wrong with Pete Hegseth, calling enlisted men and women just trying to do their jobs "warfighters?" That's comic book shit, man.
