America for years was getting slashed by the knife of growing fascism, bleeding, and Democrats would put a tissue on it and then sharpen the blade, blaming you when they casually tossed it aside to let the fascists start cutting again and say you must have wanted it, you didn't vote hard enough.

They hold positions that are fundamentally unpopular in America (Schumer's full throated support for Israel, for example), will throw entire elections/districts/etc to avoid having to compromise on that, and then say other things aren't popular enough to support when they don't care about them.

Democratic leadership will yell and scream at their own voters that they have to support them to prevent the bad things from happening, take no credible steps to stop the bad things from happening or to reverse the previous bad things, then chase after voters who will never vote for them.
