We filed suit against the Trump administration (again) today to block the implementation of an unlawful executive order that seeks to undermine inclusion & equal opportunity, threatens government contractors w/ criminal prosecution, & chills protected speech.

We’re suing the Trump-Vance admin to stop an executive order targeting federal contractors and subcontractors' efforts to promote equal opportunity.

This unconstitutional EO threatens civil and criminal prosecution for contractors who don't comply with an anti-DEIA agenda. We’ll fight it in court.

We should probably talk more about how deeply the tentacles of neoliberalism have penetrated higher education. Of course scholars do research in the summer, but this administrative language of ever-increasing productivity is, to be technical about it, icky and alienating

Governor Spanberger has the ability to amend the bill & add professors & graduate students, allowing them to engage in collective bargaining. She has four weeks to make a decision, & then the General Assembly will consider any changes she proposes in April.

New Heritage Foundation: Reigniting the Patriarchy New Heritage Foundation report wants to focus on the family — controlling it, that is.

The growth of access to higher ed in the 50s & 60s aimed to produce “a well-informed & democratic citizenry, w/ people who understand the need to participate in society.”

The Heritage Foundation is attempting to reverse this.

Fighting back is essential, & requires using every means possible.
