I cap it at my speculative % which is a max of 10% (when summing up all speculatives) of my total investments, I'm young enough where biffing that money won't ruin me since the safety stocks/ETFs still have enough time to cover the loss

Some ETFs offer inverse leverage via shorting and derivatives. I am not naming it specifically because its really not a wise long term investment decision and I don't want someone with no knowledge of the markets to go and dump their life savings into it. If I lose the chunk I dumped in that's ok 🤷
