When I refer to myself to the kittens, my instinct is to call myself “Pending” rather than my real name. Which is fair because I’m online enough that I get called Pending more.

It’s just funny because the name I think of myself as is from a gag that’s long since lost relevance.

Yeah ^_^ The orange one is Saber, and she’s the much braver/adventurous of the two. The gray one tends to follow Saber’s lead, so Shadow was suggested, and I went with that.

They’ve grown up together, so they were already very close before they came here.

I recently got kittens! They seem to be warming up to me. They started out in the bathroom, and they still treat that as their home base, but last night they explored the rest of the place some. Hopefully they’ll also use the cat tower I assembled.
