Have they ever done it for any other party? Out of interest.

The government’s plans to make mainstream schools more inclusive are threatened by a ‘chronic’ shortage of educational psychologists, @edupolicyinst.bsky.social report warns
Just thinking - today there were conversations about brain fog/memory issues, physical menopause symptoms (joints, periods), HRT benefits, 'losing yourself' and a huge overshare about vaginal OT that made us all laugh. So you know, no one is shy!
Yes totally, but I work in a woman dominated environment.
Mine has just handed me her 'Easter' homework tasks. Gah.
Not as much as making packed lunches.
The world needs neither quiet girls or public spaces defined by boys. Glad the interviewees are aware, but surely much more to be done e.g., by schools www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...
I had cheese naan flavoured crisps in France last week. I don't eat bread, so bread flavoured crisps was a treat. For about 3 crisps, then I felt dirty*
*ate the whole bag
Reminder.
Yes, that was my 'realisation' point too. This was my sign at the 2017 Women's March.
What do women have to do to not be sexualised?
I had a parent cry at my last PE, because they couldn't believe the support their dyslexic child was getting 'that just wasn't available to me.. my life could have been so different'.
While I seem to be doing my unpopular takes, can I just say that I think MPs should be paid a *lot* more (but not be allowed second jobs or hold investments) and get a *much* bigger expenses allowance (to fund their offices).
We were just having this exact conversation over dinner. Concluded that he has had the best human life ever in history. Passionate, successful... long, useful.. and so on.
They're also not 'open' to me if I don't want my child to go to a Christian school, yet the nearest 10 rural primary schools are CofE. Mine is at a non CofE school (we moved house for this), yet still there are community 'prayer' spaces set up that children are supposed to attend. It's insidious.
What on earth is an elephant seal doing down there in the dark? Swimming along blindly with its mouth open?
I feel like he's had his time and should just sshhhh now.
I write reports for people who have dyslexia (or literacy difficulties) and their parents. I worked so hard to make the report language and syntax I use accessible, that it looks like I've just shoved it through ChatGPT with a 'make accessible' prompt.
An absolute tonic, thank goodness for it.
This is not one for a rewatch after 30 years. I watched it on video so many times back then, just the thought now... shudder. We were such dickheads.
Amazon are partnering with Comic Relief to sell their red noses. Last year Comic Relief raised £34 million which is how much Jeff Bezos makes in six hours. Dig deep everyone.
Wow. Sadiq Khan asks Keir Starmer to not only “rejoin the EU Customs Union and the Single Market this Parliament”, but also to “fight the next general election with a clear manifesto commitment: a vote for Labour means we would rejoin the European Union”, without a second #Brexit referendum 👏
Well, I've spent thousands of my own pounds on learning something very specific in SEND, and I don't even feel well 'trained' in that when I'm in the classroom. So much variation in even my tiny area of erm.. interest/alleged expertise.
Dragging everyone through a 'nurture' version of the 'mainstream' curriculum.
Yep. And no money for (eg) a dyslexic person who struggles with writing to use technology to record their understanding. *sighs in coloured paper*
I mean, it doesn't need 'explaining', but what a weird coincidence.
It sits there for months, addressed to other people. Eventually I go through it and bin most, but randomly open one card. It's a chatty 'letter' about travelling with the addressee in Africa.
It's from the Kiwi couple. But not for me. For someone else who once lived in that flat in Swansea.
Years ago in Africa I travelled with a couple from New Zealand for a few weeks (1999). Almost pre-email, so no way of keeping in touch with them, just moved on.
4 years later I bought a flat in a block of 6 in Swansea. Post is still arriving for the previous owner and getting piled up in the hall
Pippa Heylings MP: "The Institute for European Environmental Policy has found that since Brexit, the EU has introduced 28 new or strengthened pieces of environmental legislation that the UK has not adopted."
"We have weakened protections in habitats, pesticides, forever, chemicals and fisheries."
