Like for example Glasner. Won the FA cup with Palace and won a European trophy with Frankfurt. My issue is, I don't think he would want to deal with the shit that comes his way from our leadership - similarly as he hates Parish. Doesn't strike me as a do as he's told kind of guy unlike Howe.

To answer it seriously I think there are lots of managers that could potentially take us on. Whether they do better is a complete unknown though as is always the case. We went from Emery (heavily linked) to Howe and that felt huge downgrade and yet he won us a cup.

Sentimentality and a lack of genuine ambition is what's happened and as a result it's turned kinda sour.

A manager out of his depth and was before the cup win, and no significant progress back stage to show genuine ambition to match the stuff they are spewing.

We weren't great before we won the cup - there were signs before then that things were not great. The cup win is buying him time that it really shouldn't be.
