This is a big part of the reason I dropped off TikTok. I saw how easy it was to define the path of a conversation if a person had an especially dumb and argumentative take.

I think in a lot cases, the people arguing for the pursuit of a goal in flashy, impractical, conflict forward and content driven ways drives a lot of leftish people out of many conversations.
