One of the biggest things I miss twitter for is live updates when trying to buy tickets. Right now me and the girls are all scrambling for #LilyAllen presale but none of us received the early access link & have no idea if it’s an issue on our side or in general. Anybody able to get in for dublin?

I’m gonna need more Irish public info accounts to move onto Bluesky or even threads lol. So annoying not being able to see any service interruption updates for Dublin Bus or the trains, traffic / accident updates, general bits going on. It’s the main thing I miss twitter for. RIP.
Committing to going for a walk every morning is literally the best thing I’ve ever done for my mental health, outlook and just ability to deal with the day.
Going out for a morning walk genuinely changes my whole day. Wasn’t able to today, and I’m all scattered.
Modern social media has rotted my brain so much I don’t even know how to make a basic written post, instead in my head I’m like “what am I trying to show/ convey”, lost without adding an image or video. I used to love Twitter, because all it asked was a short few words on whatever I wanted.
David Lynch
David Lynch, a filmmaker known for blending the serene and surreal, shaped storytelling for over five decades. Beyond film, Lynch was a painter, musician, and advocate for mental health. His legacy lives on, inspiring creators and fans worldwide.

Everybody please go watch Gary’s Economics new video, and then all his other ones. We as a society are at a critical point, and education is our main resource right now to fight back. #eattherich
Having adhd means allowing myself a day to do nothing, in peace. Phone off, door closed, candles lit. Cosy clothes, good coffee, sparkling water. An animated movie, or two.
Today I watched The Boy and the Heron, Destino & Pocahontas. Feeling refreshed & looking forward to some writing tomorrow.
We lost €€€€ at Bloom. fuuuuUhck. That’s so crap, we thought. It was a huge amount of work, and was proper deflating, it was the first time we had lost money at an event, & something I just didn’t consider happening. I had tried to do a couple little businesses, mainly creative / events.
But saying that, with that comes a lot of difficulties that may not be obvious or something you’d think about. To be truthful, our first 2 years of trading was great. We saw a huge future, the sky was the limit. Everything seemed to be going great, but since Bloom 2023 everything began to decline.
And also so grateful for Richie, Masarap, Blasta Books, Emma & all the amazing people who took a chance on us when we’re genuinely just young silly baby business people who don’t really know what we’re doing & just going with the flow.
Richie and me on the set of Sunday Brunch on Channel 4 in February this year, an experience I still feel a butterfly in my tummy over. I am so grateful for my life & the lovely things that happen 😊 @sundaybrunchc4.bsky.social @channel4tv.bsky.social

Food highlight last week was this Reuben from Little Gino’s, a sandwich shop at the top of Grafton St, in the old Topshop. Really great concept & execution, by the founder of Los Chicanos Tacos truck, Scott. Rye bread & sauerkraut from a Dublin based Polish bakery.
Everyone should read these stories from Bahay's Alex about the Christmas market in Smithfield. Cc @dublincitycouncil.bsky.social
One thing you will never think after reading a great book or listening to a great album or seeing a great piece of art is, “I’m really glad this person remained cautious while they were making this and guarded against being perceived as weird.”
Obsessed with it Caroline! So gas isn’t it haha
