@midwestgames.bsky.social launched Tombwater from Moth Atlas last week and we are loving the critical response.
Great review from Newsweek here👇
"Overall, by the end of "Tombwater," I knew that I had just played one of my favorite soulslikes of all time."

True statement!
Blast from the past! Sometimes I read the quotes from those times and it feels so insane that all that happened.
Truth.
Marathon: 2 hours in
- Tough UI/UX experience that is sacrificing usability for aesthetics
- Floaty camera/locomotion
- Everything in the world looks important enough to feel like you need to investigate.

I haven’t had more fun with buddies in a very long time than I’ve had with Arc Raiders. It’s obvs not co-op co-op but it feels like it.
Absolutely beautiful, Mike ❤️

To the Raider that came out of the shadows, whispered “Gotcha” and executed me a split-second before the elevator doors closed while I was crawling on the ground dying with an absolute motherlode of rare and unbelievable loot I scavenged in my backpack:

Holy sh*t Cairn looks incredible. Instant buy!

Really tired of apocalypse entertainment (in all mediums). There’s only 5% new things left to mine in these stories. They are all the same.
It’s worse than the actual slop.
The disease is strong. There is no cure.
100%
It’s…just a videogame…
The answer if you are an Apple user is their native Reminder + Notes apps. They play perfectly together. There’s literally a whole Trello/Jira/Notion thing n there and it’s free.
I’ve actually stopped using all non-native apps in favor of Apple native ecosystem apps now. They are so good now.
Pretty wild how all-in on hating this game you are and you’ve never even played it ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
PS5
Arc Raiders is fantastic. PvP is great. The moment with players where you get help or get killed is thrilling and the small amount of times that I’ve been killed by a player and looted has always felt fair because it’s an established outcome of the design.
It has replaced Destiny for me.
