Getting a little better at Live2d! as someone who’s never learned to draw I’m pretty happy with how I’ve managed to make this look lol

spent all week drawing and learning live2d for Renpy and redrawing and learning more live2d and redrawing some more… it’s not supposed to look good yet, I’m just so relieved it even worked!

aka: I legitimately write second person present the best and no one will read it but I sincerely believe you are missing out on some excellent fucking stuff

I respect it though. I just think people get too stubborn and obnoxious in their judgment when it’s like your preference is exactly that: YOUR. PREFERENCE. you are not *objectively correct* because you PREFER past tense or third person. or whatever. you just have the prerogative to stick to that.

you don’t have to read anything you don’t want to. I stand by that forever. but I do think if you WANT to read something then you should, even if you have preconceived notions about the tense. also consider: the author wrote in like, second person present for a reason maybe.

My OC Benny DeWitt. He has pale skin, bright green eyes and braces, dark blue hair that ombres at the tips into lighter blue, and a dark purple jacket. He doesn't usually smile - but here he is.

My OC River de la Barre - the angle is a little suggestive, from below with his legs open on his bed. He's dark skinned with a baggy gray sweatshirt and ripped black jeans. His nails are painted gray except for the middle fingers, which are red. He has many piercings, a neck scar, and multicolored hair - dark green on top, magenta on the bottom, and dark blue blended between. The background is blurry but he has posters and a bulletin board up in his room.

I have an original work updating biweekly I'd love for people to check out. Mind the tags, it's definitely an adult work with mature concepts. I don't have great art of the third MC yet but here are the main couple.

there was going to be some mystery and intrigue and action - but I also always kind of wanted to make Wilde kind of like. Idk how to say it. let's just put it as he was going to be a Dexter-esque character, but his "code" was more about animals. so meeting Alexis was fortuitous.

not to spoiler it but Idk if anyone will read this anyway - game 6 was when I was going to judge if I had to wrap it up and if I had to decide now, it definitely would have ended then (because it's making me no money lol) but post-game 6 there was going to be this HUGE shift. like s2 of Breaking Bad

Oh, yeah. I could probably mention here too - KRAC is on a hiatus but only because I'm overhauling the whole thing. Game 4 was going to be HUGE and no one was playing it anyway LOL so I decided to try to make it more into what I originally wanted it to be but it's going to be a LOT of work

I also feel like I could make the art a lot better. I feel so rushed to get the non-main character sprites done that they look so bad. Like they are not as lovingly created as Alexis and Wilde lol

My OCs Alexis Shea and Wilde, whose last name I don't know if I ever came up with, actually. Alexis is sitting down and wearing a purple and yellow baseball tee, black sleeves underneath, and red gloves with jeans. He has pale skin and his hair is bright orange with highlights of cyan and pink. He has yellow, orange and pink eyes. Wilde has dark skin, dark red hair that is slicked back with pink highlights, and a white ringer t-shirt with red sleeves and collar. He has a leash wrapped around his hand for his dog.

I'm a really good writer and very 8) artist. I try not to be self-deprecating but I never learned how! I just had to teach myself using tutorials and my own eyes. But I refuse to use AI for my OCs, so where's what I've managed.
