My pencil drawing of a path leading to a castle built at the edge of a cliff overlooking a river valley. Three large, cone-roofed towers are part of the walled fortification. A gigantic tree grows in front of the castle. A staircase winds around its straight trunk. Atop its huge thick canopy is another cone-roofed tower. A single waving pennant on a pole on both the highest and lowest towers flaps in the wind.

Seek the wise one in the highest tower yonder. But beware of what price ye may pay for such forbidden craft.

My colored illustration of a hopping plantoid tavern keeper taking a steaming mug to a customer. He has pale green skin, long darker green grass-like hair blades, a blue shirt, gray pants, tan belted tunic, and brown open-toed sandals. He hops across a wide plank floor.

A springy, plantoid tavern keeper trying to keep rowdy customers happy enough not to fight.

Tip: Check the actual design of the main software you wish to use because the most expensive, say, CPU might not be the best CPU. If that software uses many but not a vast amount of cores, then a less expensive CPU with less cores operating at a higher base speed may be way more productive.

Travel tip: In a three seat airplane row, the farthest seat gets the window to enjoy, the nearest seat gets easy access to the aisle for getting up to stretch, and the middle seat gets both armrests. Don't disrespect the middle seat person by trying to take their armrests.

Interesting how many people pursue fame as a path to success given that only a minuscule subset of successful people are famous.

My pencil sketch of a finned, long-necked sea dragon swimming. It wears a bit and bridle with the reins swooping down in front and below its head. Its human rider hangs from the reins by both hands, stretches down, and skims their feet along the surface as the sea dragon uses its fluked, whale-like tail to race through the water.

Barefoot skiing with help from your sea dragon - just one of many ways to explore a mysterious region.

Important to show up for yourself, to respect your life. Imagine what you can become. Always reward yourself by embracing discipline which is what motivation transforms into by giving yourself permission to let go of the past you and wield the present you to enjoy the effort pursuing the future you.

Tip: One way to speed things up is to not keep project files on the same SSD as the one containing your OS and program files. And if any programs use caching, keep the caches on a third SSD. The idea is to free up accessibility of data to avoid bottlenecking a single SSD.

Tip: For speed potential on memory, say you want 128gb DDR5 6000MHz. Easier to maintain stability using two RAM sockets (2x64gb). Using four RAM sockets (4x32gb) may reduce max speed to lower rate so make certain to check that overall system actually gets you the speed needed for desired programs.

FYI forbidding certain phrases is commonplace on Earth. For example, the First Amendment doesn't limit what content it protects, yet US Supreme Court & Congress have nonetheless criminalized tons of speech, such as you cannot yell fire in a crowed theater is a classic example, specific threats, etc.

Travel tip: For trips where you're going on a tour (day tours; multi-day excursions), pack your favorite energy or candy bar, one for each day. Why? Some places don't have mealtimes that correspond to what you're accustom to. Also, transportation (bus, hopper flight, ferry) can throw off mealtimes.

Travel tip: Take a knit cap that you can throw in a jacket or satchel pocket. Many places have wind/weather that changes notably within the same day or changes based on your location (e.g. near water; higher elevation; desert day/night). Being able to easily cover top of your head adds to enjoyment.

That's interesting. In that poll, the top countries, the Nordic ones, all have significant rates of antidepressant consumption.

For many projects it's a marathon, not a sprint. Knowing that isn't the same as internalizing it. Set guidelines, pace and plan like it'll require prolonged effort, and work in ways to avoid burnout which can sabotage all the progress toward the rewarding finish if not factored in from the get-go.

Really seems like only 3 out of every 100 people are happy in the USA and even less so elsewhere in the world.

Electrification isn't an indicator. A huge number of Chinese (nearly a third - 400 million) are in poverty living on less than $10 per day, while in the USA and UK it is under three percent. As a side note, in India it is staggering - nearly 9 out of 10.

Disinformation is a loaded term because who decides - governments that still carry out mass human rights violations daily and consider any criticism to be disinformation? Lots of creepy governments in Europe not even upholding basic human rights for lots of folks are to be trusted with defining it?

You know when you know you wrote something down but for the life of you cannot recall where because it happened quite awhile ago and your brain has decided too much has occurred since then to have bothered to commit it to long-term memory? Yeah, it's one of those rare days requiring lots of looking.

First tax? Really? Lots of Americans don't know about 183-Day rule and how it impacts everyone. Just having a residence in New York (like a studio apartment) even if you spend less than 183 days in the state can trigger Resident status resulting in taxation of worldwide (not just NY state) income.

My black ink drawing of a wilderness wizard squatting down, wearing rough hide shoulder-length cowl, shirt, belt with pouch, pants, and shoes, right forearm bracer, left arm gauntlet holding the handle of a large, closed satchel from which extends a long, thin, spike-tipped, reptilian tail or tentacle.

He's ageless and has been away from civilized folk for quite a spell. Will you accept the wilderness wizard's offer to buy or barter for his exotic enchanted catch?

Following dreams takes effort. No self-entitlement can substitute for the guidance of thoughtfulness and planning, followed ultimately by action and adjustments along the entire route. There's no guarantee. There can be satisfaction in the pursuit even if outcomes diverge from intended expectations.

Good to understand what VFX can accomplish even when story isn't a noticeable VFX one like space battles or superhero. Free tools like Blender (blender.org) can expand possibilities or solve challenges that one encounters in "ordinary" storyline films, like replacing signage.
