The way they are doing it is quite responsible. If they just released it to the public it would be catastrophic. Given that other models are maybe 6-12 months behind this sort of power is "in the post" and they need to bring core products (MS, Google, OpenBSD etc) up to hardened state fast.

Its not perfect by any means but it conveys two things

1. We are not "other" its a spectrum and there is a continuous line.

2. Its rather arbitrary rather than hard lines.

It really has turned some people around and onto a path of understanding

I get asked by older people a lot what Neuro Diversity is.
