Margaret (pictured with her sons), still alert, giggled loudly as she told her family and friends of her magic recipe for longevity. Family and friends gathered at her home on Derrygonnelly for a birthday celebration on Saturday and among the many birthday greetings was Margaret's seventh telegram from the Queen. Sheila says "he seems fine to me" and the woman scoffed - "we asked him who he was going home to and he said his mother" and Sheila said, "well actually he is" Now Sheila wouldn't think that was funny, she just said "yes he is going to his mother, it's quite true", and the mother died at age 106. I mention my great aunt Maggie, who has been covered in the press before - when she took the occasion of her 106th birthday to call out the Queen. As always, my auntie Patricia told her stories best, as in the tale of her son's trip to hospital when he was in his eighties.
