So stunning! I only wish there wasn't so much deforestation and there was more left.

Me too, vegan for the animals (and other humans) always and forever.
I so hope that all the baby animals born at this time of year get to enjoy long, happy lives and not end up as someone's meal.
Just come home to find this little chap on the steps by the patio doors. Heās not very well is he? I donāt know whether heās ill or flown into the glass.
Does anyone know what he is? Iām guessing greenfinch chick but I could well be wrong.

someone should invent a sofa i can reach the floor on, though š
Edinburgh #BookSky folks I can't wait for this event next week! Would be fab to see you there
do you know what would help!!!!!!!! living in a society that lets people experiment with their gender without treating it like the most important thing in the world!!!!!!! letting people get it right or wrong without politicising their decisions!!!!!!! just being chilled about gender!!!!!! aaahhhhhh
I'm not a party person. I just want a fairer, kinder, greener world. I'm delighted to see how well the Greens are doing. But we also need a strong and sincere Labour Party, and it is an absolute tragedy to see how Keir Starmer and his moral bypass of a government have ruined it.

This sounds great! Looking forward to reading x
One of the most dangerous things I see come from self help and spirituality books.
They state, that the world isnāt the problem. Your thoughts of it are YOUR problem.
I find these books atrocious.
People are harshing on some ādiverse reading challengeā thing thatās going around, and I get it, but looking at what you read and asking yourself āwhat isnāt represented here?ā is imo a good and healthy practice
"I can't afford to support my favorite author right now, Iā"
Reviews.
Reviews are free AND they are a gift to authors that can keep on giving (i.e., exposure, marketing, algo boosts, etc.)
Please, give the gift of reviews to your authors this holiday season. It really can make a difference!
These Mortal Bodies is getting a new look for paperback and has some gorgeous new quotes to go along with it! Thank you to @mkhardywrites.com, @pollyrowena.bsky.social (by way of the Bookseller) and Heather Darwent for capturing the murky yet glitzy vibe of my book so perfectly #BookSky

Happy International Day of People with Disabilities to all who celebrate by buying a book by a disabled author for everyone on their Christmas list.
Three texts read from Nick Ferrariās show on LBC. Hope all is well https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-15339433/cricket-one-legged-father-pay-36000-benefits-filmed.html Would you be available at 08:35 this morning to speak to Nick about whether the DWP should be taking away this manās benefits reply from me: No im not free for that. I would never be free for that. Itās just another example of how the press are demonising disabled peopleIām
headline from the daily mail reads Just not cricket! One-legged father is ordered to pay £36,000 of benefits back after being filmed playing the sport
Need you all to understand how utterly exhausting it is for disabled people (especially those of us with any public profile) to exist online rn.
I'm looking to speak to anyone who has worked in hospitality in Oxford or Cambridge, particularly studenty bars/clubs/restaurants for a potential piece for a national magazine! #journorequest
London #BookSky people I'm doing an event with two other great authors for Disability History Month and it would be amazing to see some of you there! It's at the Common Press and tickets are from free - I think this is such an important conversation.
