I so hope that all the baby animals born at this time of year get to enjoy long, happy lives and not end up as someone's meal.

Just come home to find this little chap on the steps by the patio doors. He’s not very well is he? I don’t know whether he’s ill or flown into the glass.
Does anyone know what he is? I’m guessing greenfinch chick but I could well be wrong.

I'm not a party person. I just want a fairer, kinder, greener world. I'm delighted to see how well the Greens are doing. But we also need a strong and sincere Labour Party, and it is an absolute tragedy to see how Keir Starmer and his moral bypass of a government have ruined it.

One of the most dangerous things I see come from self help and spirituality books.

They state, that the world isn’t the problem. Your thoughts of it are YOUR problem.

I find these books atrocious.

People are harshing on some ā€œdiverse reading challengeā€ thing that’s going around, and I get it, but looking at what you read and asking yourself ā€œwhat isn’t represented here?ā€ is imo a good and healthy practice

Reviews.

Reviews are free AND they are a gift to authors that can keep on giving (i.e., exposure, marketing, algo boosts, etc.)

Please, give the gift of reviews to your authors this holiday season. It really can make a difference!
