The big problem is that there're basically two types of conspiracy theories:

1. Accurate descriptions of the rich and powerful colluding to maintain or build their power

2. Bullshit that says it's actually not them doing that, but marginalized groups like Jewish people or aliens

If your theory is predicated on “A bunch of people agree with my viewpoints, they’re just too scared to speak out!” then it might be a conspiracy theory.

So I got hit with a layoff notice on Friday, just due to contract financials. I have a couple months left with the company to wind things down and do handoffs, etc, but I'm officially looking for something new.

It's very easy to find similar posts about a marginalized demographic infiltrating and speaking over groups they're supposedly not a part of, claiming victimhood while harassing others, talking about "words losing meaning", obsessing over stranger's facial hair, etc.

I don't hate people who co opt the trans struggle I don't hate people who do not have dysphoria and identify as trans. I worry about them medically transitioning for the wrong reasons and ending up having to go through de-transition. I worry about our fight for medical insurance rights and that they will stop covering transition because people preach that transsexualism is not a medical condition. I worry that trans men and trans women will become some type of other gender instead of the men and women they are. I worry that the definition of transgender will become so diluted that people with actual gender dysphoria who are suffering and sometimes can't even leave the house are going to be treated like they should just get over it. This is why I have this blog. I can't say anything in real life because I am stealth and closeted in my everyday life and I want a voice in this conversation. Truscum seems to actually have been coined before the term transmedicalism. There are truscum tagged posts going back to 2012, but no transmed posts before 2014

You cannot identify as something if you do not meet the qualifications for it. I cannot identify as black because I 1) am white 2) do not have any black heritage/ancestry. I cannot identify as a Christian because I do not believe in their doctrine. I cannot identify as having blue eyes because, guess what, my eyes are brown. I cannot identify as bipolar because I don't meet the criteria--because I'm not.
