I accepted an offer for grad school! It was a really hard decision, but I’ll be starting in August and interning as well! Very scary, uncharted territory, as field placement has me the most anxious currently 😅

Artists feel pressured to make new art too quickly at the moment. Normalise artists fucking disappearing for months. Just walk off into the woods for a year and come back with a single sketch. It’s good for you

Just came back from vacation to yellowjackets nesting in our walls and entering the house so it was nice knowing you all
I can't complain though, I like the weekends and making money. Collecting and playing the one piece tcg is great (not on my wallet), but I do miss commissioning art and talking about ocs with people. I know I'll be back to it sooner than later at least!
Work absorbs much of my time; I don't have it in me to draw sadly, and not much in me to be on my PC in general. I'm glad this job isn't forever, working with kids isn't my favorite. I'm eager to go back to school. I'll apply in October and have a response by January I believe?
Update, I had an endoscopy and colonoscopy done a few weeks ago and as of rn I don't have celiac disease! No solid answers, but fiber supplements have helped. Maybe IBS?
