She’s in hero mode, full costume and everything.

“I thought there was a…some kind of emergency here. Some monsters or something?” The alert wasn’t so clear, but it seemed like it was dire. And he looks like someone who would be on the case.

“Appreciate it.” And a brighter smile in return before she just…flops onto the couch.

“I can’t say the name isn’t descriptive,” she says with a chuckle.

“And hey, this is a pretty opportune time.” Still, she wouldn’t mind another regular. “Unless there’s something else you meant?” Might as well sate her curiosity.

“See, that’s a question with a double-wide answer. Let’s start with what stories you’re into. Then we can find something.” Plus she can make even better, more focused recs that way.

“It does,” she says in agreement.

And in honesty she wouldn’t mind a massive purchase. She can just put in a big backorder, but of course, that’s up to him.

“Anything else catch your eye?”

A bit too bitter for me. It kinda rotates depending on mood, so I can’t really lock down what kind of coffee I’ll have at any given morning.

“I know, right? And it’s Jules, by the way.” A sheepish smile as she completely forgot before he left.

And it is…big, to say the least. Though it is literally built inside a castle so there’s that.

Honestly, I drink mine plenty sweet enough anyways. I’m fairly sure it’s the sugar that wakes me up, not the caffeine itself.

“We got lots of those too.” She motions to the rows of boxes set on a series of tables, already neatly organized by character.

Oh no, I get you. I might get a couple too. And hey, it’s a good way to start the day. Thinking about getting it with some coffee.

“It’s still so weird they licensed comics from a guy like that, but they do move off the shelves, so…” She digs around and holds up a trade for one of those runs.

“Don’t think we have singles, but some of the bigger runs are in trades.”

“Among others, yes.” She flashes a smile his way as she gestures inside. “Comic books, tabletop games, what have you.”

-She does also have a boatload of stuff to carry in, of course.

“Sounds like you don’t mind.” His passion for teaching came through, so that’s nice. “Last time someone bled in this store, I was…being beaten up. That was pretty fun.” Not, of course, but her occasional sarcasm is quite known.

“The tent seems big enough for two and then some, so we’re good.”-
