Can I introduce the Coventry Grid on Autism vs Attachment Problems? So many of our children have adverse experiences & sometimes that can be mistaken for Autism (can co-occur) but it can be so helpful to reflect more when wondering what’s going on? #EdChatIE

Just a reminder that SMART goals are not as empirically sound as you might think they are (at least for physical activity and exercise).

Great book!
“Here’s what’s at stake: when we cut arts funding, we don’t just lose poems and paintings. We lose ways of knowing, understanding, communicating. We lose tools for building empathy, fostering innovation, creating change.”

Brilliant book!
No filters required on a very grey day especially at Gourock sea front earlier. Continuing on the grey theme - next week’s reading arrived when I was out.
Back home and writing up chapter 5 of this phd thesis. It’s been great going down unexpectedly illuminating rabbit holes and into areas of psychology I hadn’t considered. I’ve always loved being a psychologist and writing this study up has been a bit like the icing on that psychological cake.
Ah excellent and hopefully someone can suggest whether this is worth taking forward 🤞
What I am possibly naively wondering is if rather than necessarily having a leader of the group that the overall concept governing the group could be viewed as the leader - if that makes sense?
Yes of course. I’m interested in shared reality within a community of adult recreational dancers. What these participants describe fits well within Echterhoff’s definition of shared reality. Hogg and Rinella’s (2018) paper extends shared reality within social identity theory.
Can I ask if anyone in this group has worked on or an interest in group shared reality?
Absolutely love strength cards!
This afternoon’s job🤪
Yay! They’re so lucky to have this experience with you! Looking forward to seeing you.
Great read from @amelianewton.bsky.social

I love this Emma and it looks like a brilliant learning resource. 😊
Maria this is absolutely awesome! 🤩
It is indeed a really nice space. Supervision went better than expected, I am very grateful for my PhD experience this far. ☺️
Thank you - it was such a good day! ☺️
Thank you Emma! ☺️
Such a beautiful day for PhD supervision today. I am extremely lucky to have such supportive and encouraging supervisors. I was reminded I need to submit in about 18 months time which was a bit of a jolt moment though!
Yes it is indeed!
Flying into a new day @bsky.app and leaving X behind. So nice to see so many familiar names.
