It's noticeable that a LOT of the Republicans' pushes have been ways to gradually (or abruptly) criminalize queer behaviors so that they don't need to change the language of other laws. "Payment processors can stop unlawful transactions" doesn't need to change if you just change the law.

Oh one last observation. There ARE people this helps. The Nazis. Remember: Republicans are trying to enshrine free speech as containing hate speech. All those sites and people that payment processors have helped shut down due to hate speech? Yeah... that's "lawful" per the Right. So... =]

This also gives the payment processors even more power to start messing with sites that aren't implementing age verification. Now they can classify them as "not lawful" since they aren't in compliance with "child-protection" laws. So before you start celebrating... try reading the language. Slowly.

Your porn and your hentai and your other adult transactions will remain taboo to the payment processors because the current US administration is actively trying to classify those behaviors as "should be illegal". Look at how hard they've pushed for age verification. THIS. IS NOT. A WIN.

At BEST, this is a sternly worded letter/warning with no follow-up. At WORST, the language of "lawful" and "law-abiding" is an intentional door so that payment processors, and the FTC, can keep silencing not just adult-oriented sites, but also, queer people broadly, and anyone else the US hates.

Saw this on Twitter and got actually angry at the comment section. This is NOT A WIN. Look at the wording. "lawful" "law-abiding". Hey. Hey. Who decides the laws and who's law-abiding or not? Hm? HM? Republicans are pushing to ban porn, and classify all things queer as porn. So... think about that.

KILL THE ARTIST (you're still there) we can make our own myths, right? isn't that what all the games are for?

There's too much to say!!

The art, the tactical fast-paced combat system, customization and even just the setting/lore itself. You could read through this system solely and entirely for its setting/story information and you'd already have your money's worth.

Also: the art style in the book, alone, makes it worth looking through.

Yeah!! The combat system itself is really snappy and tactical, there's a lot of different ways to build your character and each choice feels like it gives you clear options, and the setting is evocative and definitely helps creating a character and not just a sheet with stats on it.

I've been obsessed with this TTRPG for the last like, solid week. I don't think I can recommend it enough? It's this amazing intersection between things like 'Madoka Magica' 'Kamen Rider' 'Destiny' and 'Gurren Lagann/Promare' which is just... it's so good? Nothing I say would do it justice.
