This year, we’re celebrating 25 years of building affordable housing in Waterloo Region with a look at our history!

On April 11, 2017, we received the building permit for The Foundry in Elmira. Built on the site of The Elmira Foundry (shown here), this building is now home to 25 households.

Housing is health.

Most Canadians spend 35% to 50% of their income on housing, leading to stress and poorer mental health.

Safe, stable homes mean better health, fewer hospital visits, and stronger communities.

On World Health Day, thank you for helping make that possible.

Happy Easter!

Thank you to our community of supporters who help create homes and hope every day. Because of you, 20 more families will have a safe place to call home this fall, when our Frederick St. project is complete!

Wishing you an Easter full of peace and renewal.

On the World Day of Social Justice, we think of the
women-led households, Indigenous peoples, racialized people and those with disabilities who are disproportionately impacted by housing injustice. Removing systemic barriers is key to building a fairer Canada.
