Maybe… or I could use it for a travel blog when I go overseas in a couple of months.
A friend sent me this last night to show me what came up when she searched for me on FB. If you find anything similar (but not the new profile I created with a pic of me holding Lulu (cat) in front of a van), could you please report it to FB as impersonating me? (If that’s too complex, don’t worry).
Thanks, Jo. I think I’ll have to post them elsewhere (ha!) tho I’ll have to wait until I retire to have enough time to keep a Substack.
What’s really annoying is the loss of about 12 hours I spent trying to appeal the loss of my account to FB when I could have been reading books.
I tried Meta-verifying my identity and setting up a new FB profile, but FB immediately canned it, saying I’d violated community standards—that’s how hacked my FB account is (sorry about the poor syntax there).
My Elsewhere07 FB and Insta accounts have been profoundly hacked so it looks like I’m over here now. Despite threatening to leave Meta for sometime, the thing that held me back and what I’m bummed about losing is the history and contacts with far-flung friends I maintained through FB.
Bugger it not being a sitting week—you could have witnessed the human circus that is question time! Maybe there’ll be a NSW pollie around?

He’s surely going to go after libraries and he will find out fast that people don’t like that, no they do not.

Excited to be able to buy this Pitjantjatjara Yankunytjatjara Picture Dictionary at Red Kangaroo Books. This book has been out of print for years! #redkangaroobooks #rkb #iadpress #pitjantjatjara

I can’t believe you did either. It’s manageable I find if you don’t drink too much coffee and wine. The worst part is the ‘reverse igloo’ boredom factor of having to be in air conditioned interiors all the time.
Mparntwe Alice Springs temp forecast for the next month. Last 43 C day today. Cool change (30 C!) on Friday. Sorry to be a weather bore, but this could be your life too some day, thanks to climate change.
